The one wall
Tilion runs free on your own machine, and for most scraping and automation that is enough. One wall stays standing: the egress IP.
A clean fingerprint on a datacenter IP still gets blocked by the biggest targets. Anti-bot systems read the IP's reputation before a single page script runs, and datacenter ranges are flagged on sight. No engine, however native its fingerprint, changes where the traffic leaves from.
What Cloud adds
- Hosted stealth browsers with residential and mobile egress.
- A hosted MCP endpoint over HTTP with OAuth, so an agent points at a URL with nothing to install.
- Warm browser pools and snapshot-resume for sub-second sessions at scale, each clone re-randomized so no two share a fingerprint.
- microVM isolation per tenant, region pinning, and pluggable proxy providers.
The local framework and the stdio MCP stay free. Cloud is the infrastructure layer for the hard targets that need a residential IP and real concurrency.
